Bug zone

Bold / italics

Bold inside italics has a bug (the parser thinks the italics have been closed), but the opposite is fine:

  • Foo bar 'baz quux
  • foo bar baz quux

A crazy workaround involves closing the italics, opening the bold, then opening italics inside the bold (please don't actually do this):

  • Foo bar baz quux
  • The BinOC workaround uses the em and strong html tags.

Lists

Different types of lists cannot be mixed — the left-most structure takes precedence, and other characters are assumed to be part of the list item, not the list itself.

Headings

The depth of a heading is determined by the number of equal-signs on the left (up to 6), so bad markup will do stuff like this:

========= like this
or this
